DOES IT DRIP?
Only for about 24 hours...the excess material going through the seams. If material doesn't drip then it's not fully effective, it's not getting through all the cracks and crevices.
DO YOU DRILL THE CAR?
Only when necessary to access the inner compartments such as doors, rocker panels, window post area, etc. If we can access without drilling, we use existing holes provided by the manufacturer.
It's essential to get into the inner compartments because that's where corrosion starts.
WHAT IF MY CAR ALREADY HAS RUST?
If it's not bad enough to require bodywork, the Krown chemical, which is sprayed under pressure will penetrate the rust and prevent further oxidation. It will prevent further spreading of corrosion.
DO YOU HAVE TO DO IT EVERY YEAR?
Yes. Just as we maintain our engines and have to change our oil every so often because it loses it's effectiveness, Krown will maintain a car's body but it has to be re-sprayed annually to give full effectiveness. When it is done each year, it is done as if for the first time, everything is done completely. It's not a 'touch-up' or an inspection.
DOES IT HAVE TO BE DONE ON A DRY DAY?
No. the Krown product has the ability to effectively move any moisture on metal and provide an insulating barrier.
IF I USE KROWN, WILL IT VOID MY WARRANTY?
A myth continued by some new car salesmen when interest is shown in KROWN.
There are statements on file from many automobile manufacturers that the addition of any after-market product does not void the warranty. If it did void a manufacturers warranty...why do new
car salesmen attempt to sell their after-market product? |
DON'T MANUFACTURERS USE COATED METAL TO PREVENT RUST?
Some do but when that metal is subject to stress by bending or spot-welding, the protection is lost.
Some vehicles have as many as 2,000 spot-welds in the unitised construction method
being used today. Each weld is a potential seat of corrosion...KROWN helps to maintain vehicle strength and safety. |
WHAT IF MY CAR IS MOSTLY PLASTIC?
Plastic components have to be attached to metal clips or supports and KROWN prevents
corrosion in those areas, as well as the many other important parts of a vehicle |
